HOT DAMN!! First Maxwell, now this! Either Sony BMG has found a way to extort new material out of its most lauded M.I.A. artists or the recession is bringing out the creativity in folk! Either way, I'm just glad to hear the news!! According to a recent Billboard blurb, Sade is set to deliver a new album this Fall! She's reunited with her original flock (Stuart Matthewman, Paul Denman, and Andrew Hale collectively known as Sweetback) and is in the studio working on new material at press time.
All I got to say is...HALLELUJAH!!! Now if someone could just send the memo to D'Angelo and Lauryn Hill that Groundhog's Day is over, all would be well in the land of Oz. Stay tuned.
